Today we had great fun chopping dried fruit and mixing it with lard and seeds to create bird cakes for the birds. It was very very slimy and not everyone liked the lard yet the bird have already arrived to eat the delicious bird cakes in the garden. Over the next few days we will be watching them with our binoculars to observe the different types and sizes of birds that visit the garden.
