Board of Governors

We are currently looking for volunteers for the role of ‘Parent Representative’ on the Board of Governors.  The role of parent governor is to work along with the Board of Governors to make decisions regarding the running of the Nursery school.

The role of ‘Parent Governor’ will be for four years (due to COVID the current Board of Governors has been extended to 2023 then will be reconstituted) – with meetings normally held once a term and training available throughout the year.  If you have any experience in human resources, education, financial or legal issues we would be grateful if you would consider taking on this role. If you would like additional information on the role of the Board of Governors or a Nomination Form please speak to Miss Donoghue.

If you would be interested in taking on this role please complete the ‘Nomination Form’ and ask two other parents of the children within the school to either propose or second your nomination.  Once all nominations are received a vote will be held.  Please note that with all adults involved with the running of the school a police check would be carried out on the successful candidate.
