Halloween Party & Break Halloween Party: The children are invited to come to school dressed, as their favourite character on Tuesday 29th October for a Halloween Party. Please note there will be NO dinners that day.As the children are young we ask that no one wears a scary mask.The Nursery will close at 11.20 -11.30 (Group 1) & 11.30-11.40 (Group 2) on Tuesday 29th OctoberHalloween Break: The Nursery will be closed from Wednesday 30th October & re-open on Monday 4th November.

Ice, ice, ice baby

It’s a very very cold week and we have been exploring ice in the water tray. We have been observing it melt due to the heat of the room or our hands then added warm water or salt to discover how this speeds up the thawing process. The children have been sharing how you defrost the cars in the morning or salt the step so they don’t slip. Then we watched on You Tube the gritter lorries being filled with grit and then how they spray the roads to help keep the roads safe.
